Here comes the second part of the election day in Libya. We were not alone: Astrid Frevel, Journalist for NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) and the Austrian "Der Standard" wanted to see elections far away from the big crowd in Tripoli.
She did not get disappointed: As she was a registered journalist, she was allowed entry to all the localities. People on the street were eager to talk to her. They just wanted to make their emotions room and were eager to tell Ms.Frevel how they felt after they voted. I was also surprised by so much openness of Libyan women. Some people even said they did not care about the outcome of the elections. Already the fact that they voted is a big victory for them.
